        I'm typing this on my laptop in a motel room in Hay on Friday. We stopped at Narrabri last
        night and will be in Millicent, SA tomorrow night to visit Marylou's sister, then onward to
        Adelaide next Tuesday for the Adelaide Rally. No issues on the road so far apart from some
        trucks and caravans that seem totally oblivious to other road users, the only roo we have seen
        was hopping along the fence alongside Aura on the Bruce the day we left - nothing but dead
        ones after that.

        No meeting this week because it was a public holiday and no meeting next week because
        everyone is likely to be exhausted after the LTL on Sunday. Since this is Friday I have no
        idea how the LTL went but if the commitment, time & effort that some of our members have
        put into it deserves to be rewarded big time, fingers crossed all goes well.

        There will be no meeting on 12  October. The next Club meeting 19 Oct 2026
        Our next club meeting will be held at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club. The guest speaker will be
        Greg  Ison,  Chairman  of  Eumundi  Rotary  Initiatives  Ltd  who  will  be  talking  on  Project
        Kemabolo.

        Greg Ison, Chairman of Eumundi Rotary Initiatives Ltd, who will introduce us to Project
        Kemabolo. Project Kemabolo is a wonderful international Rotary initiative supporting the
        remote  community  of  Kemabolo  in  Papua  New  Guinea,  with  a  focus  on  bringing  much-
        needed basic health care to the village and surrounding communities, including plans for the
        development  of  a  small  hospital.  Greg  will  share  the  story  behind  the  project,  what  has
        already been achieved, and the vision for what comes next.
