Next Club Meeting

The next Club meeting 15 Jun 2026

Our next club meeting will be held at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club. The guest speakers will
be Brett and Connie Glover who will be talking on Heart For Kids.

Heart for Kids is a Christian organisation that has served since 2005. We are a hands-on
ministry that serves children individually and with care, partnering closely with our in-
country staff and local partners. We began as ChinaHeart, focused on caring for orphans and
children facing extreme hardship. In 2014, we felt called to expand our work. By building
strong, local partnerships, we began serving in India and Indonesia in 2016, bringing hope,
support, and life-changing opportunities to more children and families.

Our Exchange Students

Hi Mooloolaba Rotarians, I have just returned from a one-month trip to the Amazon
rainforest, Salvador, Fortaleza, Jericoacoara and Brasitia. We had three nights on a boat on
the Amazon and had a chance to swim with the pink dolphins. It was the best experience of
my life; we had so much fun. I have just moved to my second host family and they are really
nice. The family has another Youth Exchange student from Canada, and we get on really
well, I will miss her when she returns.

I cannot believe I have been here six months. I love school and have made many amazing
friends. I am looking forward to meeting the other new exchange students from other
countries in a few months. I really appreciate the opportunity I have been given. Poppi
