I'm typing this on my laptop in my sister-in-law's kitchen in Christies Beach, Adelaide.
Millicent was cold and wet and dear old Adelaide wasn't much better when we arrived.
Thank goodness then sunshine has returned giving us warm days and cold nights.
The Adelaide Rally for me starts at 5:30am tomorrow when I leave to join the rest of the
course car crew with our first stage starting at 7:55am. Hopefully I can get a hot coffee
before we start !!
I've heard through the grapevine that the LTL walk was a roaring success with almost record
numbers with plenty of social media opportunities. My sincere congratulations to Vicki,
David & his committee and everyone else who contributed - well done !!
Monday's meeting will feature Greg Ison, Chairman of Eumundi Rotary Initiatives Ltd, who
will introduce us to Project Kemabolo. Project Kemabolo is a wonderful international Rotary
initiative supporting the remote community of Kemabolo in Papua New Guinea, with a focus
on bringing much-needed basic health care to the village and surrounding communities,
including plans for the development of a small hospital. Greg will share the story behind the
project, what has already been achieved, and the vision for what comes next.
