What a great weekend was had by everyone at the Bunya Mountains last weekend. Thanks to
Phil and Leeanne Ballinger for the organisation. The teams involved in preparing meals are
to be congratulated on the quantity and quality and their ability to source supplies. Many
went on walks; others sat around fires and there was plenty of time to talk and laugh. Some
found time to explore the area and even purchase some bespoke earthenware; while others
discovered that their navigation skills were limited.
Thank you to Rotarians who assisted at the Coast Guard Open Day. On 13 June Rotary
Leadership Institute is to be held at Golden Beach, Caloundra. This is an opportunity to
enhance your understanding of Rotary, explore ideas, develop leadership skills and network

David Wright and I will attend the District Youth Exchange Graduation and Farewell
for Pelle on 13 June at the Hamilton Hotel.

Nambour Rotary are seeking assistance at their Show Stall 12, 13, 14 June - if you can help
please place your name on the roster on our calendar.

Registrations are required for our Changeover Dinner on 22 June, and payment is via your
account.
Bunnings BBQ on 30 June and roster to be available soon for Nambour Garden Show
parking, 9-12 July.

Our next club meeting will be held at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club. The guest speaker will be
Glin Bayley who will be talking on The Value Negotiator.

Glin Bayley is a non-executive board director, self-leadership coach, speaker and founder of
The Value Negotiator. She is the author of The Negotiation Playbook: Strategies That Work
and Results That Last. Glin has trained executives at companies like Unilever, Arnott's,

Lactalis, Lendlease and Woolworths. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of
Company Directors and has a BA in Business Studies and Financial Services from the
