We all join Rotary for different reasons but to ‘give back to the community’ is a common
one. This week we received several letters thanking us for what we had done for our
community. These are the letters we received.

1. From Birgit Sowden IFYS – Donation of Defibrillator

Dear Syd, Charles, John and all Members of Mooloolaba Rotary,

I have been meaning to send you a photo of the ‘plaque’ we placed on the AED that you

kindly donated to us.

Our favourite neighbours, the Maroochy Men’s Shed, hosted a course facilitated by a

representative from QAS, on how to use the defibrillator. This Training Session was
attended by about 30 staff and volunteers and was very informative.

Thank you all again for your ongoing generous support of Urban Angels… you make a

difference to what we can achieve in the community.
