Well done to members for participating in the Child Safety Workshop. Members who were
absent last Monday are still required to complete the assessment.

Assistance is needed for a few activities this month. Please see Barry Fraser if you are able to
assist on Saturday 24 to transport equipment from our container to Mooloolaba State School
for Alexandra Headland's Surf, Sun and Shine event. Then on Sunday 25 at 7.30 to assist
with the set-up and at 3.30 to assist taking down and returning the equipment. Any additional
help on the Sunday also appreciated.

If you are able to assist at the Citizenship Ceremony on 26 January and/or attend the BBQ at
Sporton's please register on the calendar. Also RARE are requesting assistance on 7 February
and names are to be placed on the calendar. Confirmations are required by 25 January.

Information about the Sunshine Coast Council's Community Grants Program is available on
Thursday 12 February from 5.30-7.30 pm at the Maroochydore RSL, Information will also be
provided on grants via Gambling Community Benefit Fund, Unitywater, Stockland, the
Buderim Foundation, and Maroochy RSL. Grant writing tips, help and resources can be
found on council's website or via the Sunshine Coast Funding Finder or by attending a zoom
session on 17 February from 12-1 pm,
Rotary Youth Exchange news: Maddi Lang has returned from Brazil and will present to our
Club on 16 February, Poppi Mendes left for Brazil last week and Pelle has been enjoying the
summer holidays and will return to Denmark 21 June. We do not have any news of our next

inbound Youth Exchange student, however we will be seeking host families as from July.

Our next club meeting will be held at the Mooloolaba Bowls Club. The guest speaker will be
Shannon Dolan who will be talking on The Presentation Planner Tool.
Shannon Dolan will share one of her business tricks of the trade-The Presentation Planner.
This tool will allow you to brainstorm and develop a logical impactful presentation within 10
minutes that can be delivered immediately impromptu or developed further for a planned and
rehearsed presentation. Keep upskilling in 2026 with this practical workshop. Be warned:
